Chemex Ottomatic Coffee Maker Overview

A unique blend of both a pour-over dripper and an automatic coffee maker, the Chemex Ottomatic allows you to brew consistent high quality coffee quickly and efficiently. The Ottomatic brews with Chemex’s proprietary “Greedy Cup” shower head. The brew cycle is staged to account for pre-infusion, contact time between water and coffee, even wetting of the grounds, and consistent temperature between 197.6F – 204.8F.

The Ottomatic comes packaged with a 6-Cup Chemex Classic coffee maker, though it is compatible with all but the very largest Chemex coffee makers. When brewing with the Ottomatic, simply fill the reservoir to the line that corresponds with the size of your coffee maker (3, 5, 6, 8) and place your coffee maker under the shower head. Each Ottomatic comes packaged with a 6-Cup Chemex Classic series coffee maker so you don’t need to purchase additional equipment to start brewing. In addition to the Chemex Classic, each machine is packaged with a pack of Chemex Bonded Filters, a glass coffee maker cover, and a bottle of Chemex Coffee Maker Cleaner.
